Help create healthy, creative and artistic communities by becoming a LuminArtz Sponsor

Thank you for your interest in supporting LuminArtz.

Businesses play an important role in the health of the nation's arts sector.

Private sector support for various art initiatives is driven not just by a charitable focus but also by a focus on how these projects impact the communities in which their employees live and work.

We receive funding and in-kind donations every year from socially-conscious organizations that believe in promoting conversations and learning around public art and placemaking.

Support by the numbers

Results from a 2018 “Business Contributions to the Arts” survey show that:

75%

Companies that make financial contributions to the arts

43%

Companies that make in-kind contributions

100%

Financial services companies that have a long-term partnership with an arts nonprofit.

8%

Surveyed businesses that did not yet contribute to the arts in any way.

LuminArtz seeks to highlight local and regional artists who create innovative experiences that engage, educate and inspire.

We do this by promoting the crossroads between arts and technology through light.

Alignment with our mission

By supporting the LuminArtz mission, our sponsors are helping advance the benefits of bringing the arts into our communities.

Effects of community art initiatives

Societal differences are tempered
Creative endeavors are fundamental to our humanity. They build bridges between cultures, promote freedom of expression, and celebrate what makes us unique.
Local merchants see more revenue
Attendees at nonprofit arts events spend $24.60 per person over the cost of admission on items such as meals, parking, etc. Attendees who live outside the county of the event spend twice as much as their local counterparts.
Arts drive tourism
Studies show that arts travelers are ideal tourists, staying longer and spending more to seek out authentic cultural experiences.
Positive social impact
University of Pennsylvania researchers have demonstrated that a high concentration of the arts in a city leads to higher civic engagement and child welfare, and lower crime and poverty rates.
Improved wellbeing
Nearly half of the nation’s healthcare institutions provide arts programming for patients, families and staff. 78% deliver these programs because of healing benefits to patients- shorter hospital stays, better pain management, and less medication.

Alignment with consumers

Research has shown that consumers, Millennial consumers especially, prefer to do business with corporations and brands that promote pro-social messages and ethical business standards.
